In 2026, the Montone Blues Festival returns to transform one of Italy’s most beautiful medieval hilltop towns into a stage for world-class blues. Set against the breathtaking Umbrian countryside, this unforgettable weekend blends soulful music, historic charm, and vibrant community spirit. By day, explore Montone’s winding stone streets, local cuisine, and signature Italian experiences — and by night, let the blues echo through ancient piazzas under the stars.
The Line up
The Montone Blues Festival brings an exciting international lineup to the historic piazza, celebrating blues, soul, and rhythm from both sides of the Atlantic. Headlining the weekend are the legendary Delta Wires, a high-energy harmonica and horn-driven blues band from the San Francisco Bay Area whose explosive live shows and powerful West Coast sound have earned them induction into the California Blues Hall of Fame and appearances at major blues festivals worldwide.
Joining them is Boston’s Diane Blue, a powerhouse vocalist and harmonica player known for her soulful delivery and as a featured member of Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters, bringing authentic blues, soul, and R&B energy to audiences across the United States and Europe.
Also taking the stage are the UK’s dynamic blues outfit The Stumble, Italy’s own Tito Blues Band, delivering classic blues with Italian flair, and the smooth saxophone stylings of BaronSax. Together, these artists promise three unforgettable evenings of live music, filling the medieval streets of Montone with the sound of blues from sunset to late night.
